What are KANSHO collars made of?

Each collar is handwoven from outdoor-grade paracord and set with a natural crystal stone, finished with vegan leather (PU) hardware. See our [Care Guide] for full material details.

Are the crystals real?

Yes. Every stone is genuine and hand-selected — never dyed, never synthetic. Because each stone is natural, slight variations in color and pattern are normal, not a flaw. No two pieces are exactly alike.

How do I choose the right element for my pet?

Visit our [Crystal Guide] for a full breakdown of the five elements — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water — along with the temperament each one traditionally reflects. There's no wrong choice; it's simply a thoughtful way of choosing what feels right for your companion.

How do I know what size to order?

Each product page lists the neck measurement range for that size. We recommend measuring your pet's neck snugly (not tight) and comparing it to the size chart before ordering. If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up.

How do I clean and care for my collar?

Please see our full [Care Guide] for detailed instructions by material. In short: wipe down after walks, avoid prolonged water exposure and direct sunlight, and never machine wash or tumble dry.

Is this safe for my pet?

KANSHO collars contain small parts (including the crystal stone) and are intended for supervised wear. Please keep away from children and monitor your pet while wearing the collar, particularly during unsupervised play.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we only ship to US. But we are working on expanding our reach to more regions soon. 

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 1 business day, with delivery taking an additional 14 business days depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking number once your order ships.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for unworn, unused items in original packaging. Please contact us at support@kanshopets.com to start a return. Custom or made-to-order pieces may not be eligible for return — see our full [Shipping & Returns] page for details.

My order arrived and looks slightly different from the photos — is that normal?

Yes. Because each piece is handwoven with genuine natural stone, slight variations in knot density, stone shape, and color are expected. This is part of what makes each collar one of a kind, not a defect.
